We do have AD available on main campus but we do not use it.we're out own forest. Other schools, like Engineering, have a separate Micrsoft active directory structure. The law school uses Novell Netware NDS as its network directory structure. Currently, email users are authenticated against LDAP and we're in the process of connecting the web directory and possibly domain authentication and Blackboard. We are in the process of implementing an LDAP directory. We provide LDap directory service for all students and employeesĪctive Directory. We haven't integrated with them since then due to issues with management, flexability and autonomy. This is because we deployed about 2 years before the campus-wide AD. However, the law center runs its own Active Directory with about 1,500 accounts (800 active). Campus wide, 2100 students, 500 fac/staff. Service are you using?
